Non-Conflict Minerals Policy -[Non-purchase and Non-use of Conflict Metals]
The armed rebel groups from DRC and its surrounding countries have caused many social and environmental problems through metal mining and trade, including human rights violations and armed violence, which has sparked international controversy.The metallic minerals are Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Tin,Sn), Tungsten (W), Cobalt (Co) and Gold (Au).These metals from the DRC and its adjacent Conflict areas are known as Conflict Minerals.
As a corporate citizen, in order to safeguardhuman rights and mitigate armed conflicts from DRC and its neighboring countries,we support the Conflict Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) created by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and the Global E-Sustainability Initiative (GESI),and announced the conflict free metal policy on the official website, fulfill social responsibility.
We promise to:
1. Don’t purchase conflict metals from conflict zones in DRC and its surrounding countries.
2. Requiring our suppliers not to use the conflict metals from conflict areas, otherwise, the conflict areas must be verified by the third party . If the conflict minerals used in our products are not intentional, must inform us immediately and take necessary measures.
3. At the same time, our company will do our own due diligence on the metal sources of our suppliers. We use the CFSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates as a questionnaire to require suppliers to disclose the source of Minerals and sign the Conflict Minerals Free Commitment, expecting our suppliers to comply with the Conflict Minerals Free Policy.Through responsible procurement management, ensuring the our and our suppliers' source of procurement are from the non-conflict areas and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
